(3) Submit the Required Documents
1. Submit the Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Study and Research Plan in the prescribed format. These forms will be emailed to those who have contacted the International Center.
(4) Interview with the International Center and Academic Advisor
※The academic advisor may assess the applicant's basic knowledge.
(5) If permission is granted by the academic advisor, complete the Online Application after paying the Examination Fee
→Submit the required documents by post to the Admissions Office.
(6) Take the Entrance Examination
※In some cases, the academic advisor may require the applicant to take the general entrance exam instead of the special selection exam for international students.

Applicants must meet condition (1) and at least one of conditions (2)–(3):
(1) A foreign national proficient in Japanese who is expected to obtain a "Student" residence status by the time of enrollment.
(2) A person who has completed a 16-year course of school education in a foreign country and has obtained (or is expected to obtain by the time of enrollment) a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
(3) A person who has been recognized by this graduate school as having academic ability equal to or higher than that of a graduate of a Japanese university and who will be at least 22 years old by the time of enrollment.
■If false statements or fraudulent declarations are found in the application documents, admission may be revoked.
※Applicants who do not meet condition (2) but wish to apply under (3) must undergo a preliminary screening. Please refer to "5. Preliminary Screening" for details. If you meet condition (2), preliminary screening is not required.
※If an applicant who is "expected" to meet the eligibility requirements fails to do so by the time of enrollment, even if they pass the entrance examination, admission will not be granted.

Please mail all the documents listed in "6. Application Procedures and Required Documents" section (2), except for the "Application Form."
(There is no need to pay the application fee at the preliminary screening stage.)

(3) Screening Method
The screening will be conducted based on the submitted documents. However, an oral examination may be required if deemed necessary.

② Submitting Required Documents
Create and send the university’s designated "Resume" and "Research Plan" to the International Center.
(These forms will be sent via email by the International Center after you complete Step ①.)

The designated application forms can be downloaded and printed from the respective Graduate School pages on the university’s Graduate School Admissions webpage.
Applicants who have undergone preliminary screening and been approved for application do not need to resubmit the documents they previously submitted during the screening process.
